Purpose
The Transfer Out function in M-POS is used by warehouses to pick and ship stock for transfers initiated by backend users in E-Retail (e.g., Store Delivery, Store Transfer, Store Return, or Warehouse Transfer). If Carton Kitting is enabled, users can pack items into cartons with assigned Carton IDs before shipping.
Prerequisites
Access to M-POS > Back Office > Transfer Out.
Store Delivery Requests must first be created and confirmed in E-Retail.
If carton kitting is used, ensure Carton IDs are created in:
E-Retail > Warehouse Module > Generate Pallet & CartonReminder: Select Type = Carton (not Pallet).
Steps
Step 1 – Access Transfer Out
Log in to M-POS.
Go to Back Office > Transfer Out.
A prompt will appear:
“You have XX pending document(s), do you want to view?”Tap OK → go directly to the picking/scanning page.
Tap Cancel → go to the filter page to search documents.
Step 2 – Filter Page (If Cancel is Selected)
You can search pending or past transfers using filters:
Transfer No. (Doc No.)
To Location
Date From / Date To
Status – All, Pending, Confirmed or Shipped
Step 3 – Picking & Scanning Items
On the scanning page, start scanning SKUs listed in the transfer request.
Once items are scanned:
Tap Save to save progress.
Tap Confirm to finalize.
Step 4 – Carton Kitting (If Enabled)
When confirming, if carton kitting is enabled, a prompt appears:
“You can do optional carton kitting, are you sure you want to ship?”Tap OK → proceed to ship without carton kitting.
Tap Cancel → go to carton kitting workflow.
In Carton Kitting:
Tap Carton Kitting button.
Tap Add Carton.
Select or scan a Carton ID.
Scan items and assign them to the carton.
Tap Save.
Repeat Add Carton until all items are packed.
Once all cartons are created:
Tap Back.
Tap Ship to finalize transfer out.
Step 5 – Review Completed Documents
After confirming or shipping:
Tap Back (top-left corner).
The completed transfer will show status = Shipped.
Any other Pending documents will also remain listed.
Notes / Tips
Always check whether Carton IDs are generated in E-Retail before performing carton kitting in M-POS.
Use Save if picking is not finished yet; you can return later to complete.
Once confirmed/shipped, the transfer cannot be edited in M-POS.
Packing with Carton IDs makes receiving faster at the destination location (Transfer In by Carton).
Confirmed transfers update inventory and move stock into In-Transit status until received at the destination.
