Purpose

The Replenishment Based on Sales module is used to generate stock replenishment suggestions based on sales performance within a specified date range. This ensures fast-moving items are restocked according to store demand and warehouse availability.

This replenishment process is typically performed once per week as part of the weekly fulfilment cycle.

Prerequisites

  • Access to Replenishment Module > Replenishment Based on Sales.

Steps

Step 1 – Create a Replenishment Document

  1. Go to Replenishment Module > Replenishment Based on Sales.

  2. Click Add.

  3. In the top panel:

    • Select From Date and To Date (sales period).

    • Input values in Sales Unit From and To (filter by sales range).

    • Select Warehouse using the 3-dotted button.

    • Choose Store or Store Group using the 3-dotted button.

Step 2 – Load Data

  1. Click Load.

  2. The system will generate a replenishment list including:

    • Product

    • Store Name

    • Store Sold Quantities

    • Store On Hand Stocks

    • Store To-Replenish Quantity

    • Warehouse Stock

    • Daily Sales Quantity

Step 3 – Review & Amend Quantities

  • Review all auto-generated replenishment quantities.

  • Amend the Replenish column as needed for operational requirements.

Step 4 – Finalize Document

  1. Click Save to keep the document as draft.

  2. Once verified, click Confirm.

    • A Store Delivery Request document will be created in the Store Delivery Request module.

    • Picking Jobs will be generated for warehouse users to prepare and ship goods.

  3. If the document is no longer needed, click Cancel.

  4. (Optional) Click Export to download the replenishment list in Excel.

Notes / Tips

  • This module only includes products with sales history within the selected date range.

  • Use Sales Unit From/To filters to exclude very slow sellers or excessively high sellers.

  • The Replenish column is editable before confirming.

  • Use Export for reporting or deeper analysis outside the system.

Important Operational Behaviour

Weekly Run

  • Replenishment Based on Sales is generally executed once every week as part of routine stock fulfilment.

No Carry-Forward Quantities

  • If the warehouse does not have sufficient stock to fulfil the current week’s replenishment suggestions,
the next week’s replenishment run will not add or carry forward the unfulfilled quantities from the previous week.

  • The system recalculates fresh suggestions every week based on:

    • Sales performance for the selected date range

    • Latest store stock on hand

    • Safety levels or operational norms

  • This keeps each week's replenishment clean, accurate, and based on real-time stock conditions.
